Soulful Yoga Connections ~ Bringing You the Magic of Yoga

​Welcome to Soulful Yoga Connections, an inclusive environment dedicated to the sacred craft and lifestyle of yoga where students can grow and succeed within their own practice. We offer a diverse range of yoga experiences, including Traditional Yoga, Aerial Yoga, Yoga in the Park, SUP Yoga, Sound Healing Events & Meditation, and Travel Adventures (coming 2025). Our Traditional Yoga classes provide a grounding experience through mindful movements, breathwork, and meditation, perfect for building strength, improving flexibility, and cultivating inner peace. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced yogi, these sessions cater to all levels in a warm and welcoming environment at our studio, The Soulful Shala. For something more adventurous, we offer Aerial Yoga, where soft silk hammocks allow you to stretch deeper, enhance your balance, and experience the joy of floating poses. This fusion of yoga, Pilates, and dance provides a unique way to relieve tension, strengthen your core, and decompress the spine. Sound Healing & Meditations Events are offered monthly where yogis can experience the soothing vibrations from instruments like crystal singing bowls, gongs, and chimes & meditations classes which offer a peaceful space to quite the mind, reduce stress, and cultivate inner calm.  Nature Lovers can enjoy Yoga in Park in the stunning Inverness Liberty Park where yogis can enjoy a refreshing way to connect with nature while practicing yoga in an open, outdoor setting.  For water enthusiasts, our SUP Yoga (Stand-Up Paddleboard Yoga) takes your practice onto the water. Balance and flow through yoga postures on a paddleboard, surrounded by nature, to enhance your core strength, stability, and mindfulness while enjoying the calming effects of water. In addition to our studio offerings, we also organize Travel Adventures to beautiful locations, where you can deepen your practice, connect with nature, and experience different cultures. These getaways combine mindful movement, adventure, and relaxation in stunning natural settings, perfect for rejuvenation and growth (Coming 2025).​

Our Story

Soulful Yoga Connections was established September 2020 with the intention to offer yoga outdoors and allow students to connect to nature and each other through Yoga in the Park, SUP Yoga and outdoor classes & events.  It is a place of inspiration & growth as we strive to incorporate a variety of practices in movement, breath, and meditation on land and water. Yoga in the Park is offered at the beautiful Inverness Liberty Park during the Spring, Summer and Fall months.  SUP Yoga is offered in Crystal River, FL year-round.  

 

As our yoga community grew, The Soulful Shala was born as a gathering place for students of yoga to practice, share, experience, learn and grow.  Located in a quiet neighborhood in Inverness, FL, Soulful Shala is free-standing, home-based yoga studio created for the yogi or yogi-to-be with a soulful & well intended heart. This enclosed space allows for more intimate and more detailed classes and workshops to be offered.  

Having this safe and sacred spaced allowed us to bring Aerial Yoga to our community to continue to enhance our students practice and encourage our community to try a new and fun way to experience mindfulness in motions.   As teachers, our intention is to offer high quality services, accessible and inclusive to all by offering you a broad range of yoga classes and experiences. So get excited and come experience the magic with us!

Gentle Yoga 

Find peace and relaxation in our Gentle Yoga class, designed for anyone seeking a slower, more mindful approach to yoga.  this class focuses on gentle stretching, breath awareness and simple, flowing movements to promote relaxation, flexibility, and overall well-being.  

Perfect for beginners, those recovering from injury, or anyone wanting to reduce stress.  Gentle Yoga offers a nurturing environment to reconnect with your body and mind.  Each session emphasizes deep breathing, mindful movement, and extended relaxation to leave you feeling calm, centered, and refreshed.  

Yoga at Home

Hatha Yoga for All 

 Hatha Yoga class is perfect for all levels, from beginners to experienced practitioners.  
Hatha Yoga is a traditional form of yoga that emphasizes physical postures (asanas), breath control (pranayama), and meditation, providing a balanced approach to physical and mental well-being.  

Expect to have a gentle warm-up, a series of carefully chosen yoga poses to improve strength, flexibility, and balance, pranayama to help calm the mind and increase lung capacity and relaxation to promote inner peace and mindfulness.  

Whether you are new to yoga or looking to deepen your practice, our Hatha Yoga class offers a supportive environment to explore and develop your yoga journey.  Bring a yoga mat, wear comfortable clothing and come with an open heart and mind. 

 

Aerial Yoga 

Elevate your yoga practice - literally! Our Aerial Yoga class combines traditional yoga poses, pilates, and dance with the support of a soft favric hammock.  Suspended in the air, you'll expereince full-gody workout that enchances strength, flexibility, and balance.  The hammock supports and assists in achieving deepr stretches, prefecting inversions, and alleviating pressure on your joints.

This calss is suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners.  Whether you're looking to deepen your practice, challenge your body, or simply have fun exploring new movements, Aerial Yoga offers a unique and empowering experience.  Join us to discover the joy of floating while finding your inner peace!
